About this experience
Giraffe House is an outdoor wildlife awareness centre showcasing African species, with a strong focus on education and conservation. You can meet “Gerry”, their hand-reared giraffe, alongside a variety of “animal ambassadors” like ostrich, eland, blue duiker, zebra, caracal, and crocodile in spacious, naturalistic enclosures. Facilities include picnic areas and an on-site kiosk, making it an easy family outing in the Winelands. Shows run on weekends, public holidays, and during school holidays.
